Tropical Banana Smoothie Recipe

I love, love, Banana smoothies, I'll share with you my favorite banana smoothie recipe, strawberry banana smoothie recipe, blueberry and bananas and more to either keep to your self or share with family and friends.
I'm deadly allergic to peanut butter so I've never had the honor of actually tasting this one, but my boys love the peanut butter banana smoothie and I hope you like it too.
My absolute favorite is the fruit smoothie recipes like berry banana smoothie with lecithin and protein powder, you can even add oatmeal for a great breakfast smoothie recipes, very healthy and taste great!
So grab your blenders and have fun and even experiment a little. Remember healthy fruit smoothies are a great meal replacement or just a refreshing fruit drink to help you through the day.

Here is an important tip: to make the best smoothies, if possible freeze all the fruit you are going to use first, don’t ask why but its just better !

Banana Smoothie, This is a Real simple one to make
* 2 Sliced Bananas
* 1-1/2 Cups of vanilla yogurt
* 3/4 tsp Vanilla extract
* 1/2 Cup of honey
* 1/2 Cup of crushed ice
Directions
take all ingredients and put in a blender until smooth !

This is my favorite blueberry smoothie with bananas
makes:2 servings (1 cup each)
* 1 whole sliced banana
* 1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
* 1/2 cup vanilla soymilk or whole milk
* 1 container French vanilla yogurt
* Honey, if desired or to taste
* 4 ice cubes
1. In blender, place bananas, blueberries, soymilk or milk and yogurt blend on high speed until smooth. Sweeten to taste with honey. 2. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
* 1 whole sliced banana
* 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
* 1/2 cup vanilla soymilk or whole milk
* 1 container vanilla yogurt
* 2 teaspoons of Honey, or to taste
* 4 ice cubes
1. In blender, place bananas, peanut butter, soymilk or milk and yogurt blend on high speed until smooth. Sweeten to taste with honey. 2. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.
If you want to chunk it up with flavor add recess peanut butter cups when blending, my boys love it this way
Here is what you can add to make it more healthy, I learned these things when I worked in a health food store when I was in high school over 30 years ago, wow am I that old already !!
Lecithin granules;
Lecithin is a fat emulsifier that helps your body break down fat and flush it from your body its great for you skin, hair and digestive system but the best thing about it, is it makes your drinks creamy and sweet naturally!
Protein Powder
any protein powder is fine jut look out for the calories in it, it can really vary
Substitute Milk for Soy Milk
the soy milk that is produce these day taste really great and some are vanilla or chocolate flavored.
NEVER ADD SUGAR !
Sugar is so bad for your body but if you need it to be a little sweeter, which don’t feel guilty I love sweets!, add honey instead of sugar. Honey is actually incredibly good for your body and is a natural healer and is just allover a great beauty and healthy food!
Ok here is where I contradict my healthy side.........
At any time it is ok to use Ice Cream and vanilla to make it extra rich and creamy to ANY Smoothie recipe including tropical banana smoothie recipe. and turn it into a shake, yummmmy
