How do plants grow...The Iresine These plants are very sensitive to cold and frost, so make sure that the temperature where they are planted never gets below 50 to 55 degrees. Heat and warmth is very important so make sure it gets full sun but really prefers the morning sun and lots of humidity. Keep the soil a constant moisture level but make sure it’s a loamy well drained soil and never over water and liquid or time released fertilizer is always welcomed by iresine. To ensure a fuller plant, make sure to cut off any dead or dying leaves, this will give you a much fuller foliage on these tropical shrubs.
